OB2151 is a wide input voltage, high-efficiency, high performance synchronous-rectified buck converter that operates in either CV (Constant Output Voltage) mode or CC (Constant Output Current) Mode. With integrated low Rdson switches, the high-efficiency buck converter is capable of delivering up to 3.4A output current for charger interface and a wide input voltage range from 8V to 32V. OB2151 supports Qualcomm Quick ChargeTM 2.0/3.0 (QC2.0/QC3.0), MTK PE2.0, FCP1.0, AFC, PD(3.0) fast charge protocols, Apple PD 20W protocols.. It also supports Apple, BC1.2 protocols.
OB2151 utilizes soft driving technology to achieve good EMI performance.
OB2151 also provide soft-start, flexible built-in cable compensation (see cable compensation section), VIN/VOUT over voltage protection, over temperature protection, and output short circuit protection with hiccup mode. The built-in multi-stage detection scheme effectively protects the device and system when the output hard short to ground.
OB2151 is available in ETSSOP16 package and required very few external components for operation.
